Working in a collaborative critical care environment with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, you'll partner closely with intensivists, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and fellow critical care nurses to deliver evidence-based care during some of each patient's most critical moments. Unit-Specific Certifications (Depending on your assigned department, the following are required to be maintained throughout employment): ACLS Certification : Required before the completion of clinical orientation if assigned to: Critical Care, Emergency Department, PACU, Snuggery, Cardiovascular Lab, Interventional Radiology, GI Center, or Urgent Care.
