In coordination with the Nurse Manager, supervises all staff on shift, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Patient Care Assistants, Medical Assistants, and Health Unit Coordinators. Identifies the number and level of personnel needed to provide patient care and adjusts staffing and assignments appropriately, based on CA ratio requirements, patient acuity, skill mix, and patient mix.
