Mixing materials and operating a grader and other heavy equipment to spread and level materials such as gravel, stone, and dirt for road construction; Maintaining roadways by operating machinery like motor graders, bulldozers, and tractors to clear dirt roads, lay base material, and excavate for utilities and concrete; May operate tractor drawn grader to cut and smooth subgrade on street and highway paving projects ; Check equipment daily to maintain efficient and safe operational status, such as greasing, oiling/oil changes, routine equipment maintenance, and grader blade changes.
