Ability to make repairs; Performs some MIG welding and fabrication; Participates in plant morning meetings and brings problems, issues, and observations up with the plant manager and/or maintenance manager; Ensures the compliance of all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while conducting work functions; Maintains a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted; Efficiently manages time and completion of all tasks assigned by the supervisory authority; Ability to obtain quotes and place orders for spare and replacement parts and completing all necessary documentation for the same; Ensures operators complete pre-run inspections, PM, and services and review them, store files in designated folder on-site and document on internal system; Reports any existing damage and immediate repairs to the Maintenance Manager; Ability to use, maintain, and handle all repair and testing tools and equipment; Responsible for prevented maintenance on all vehicles, equipment, & machinery; Ability to show up on time with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and tools including radio; Performs additional duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Must successfully pass a drug/alcohol screening, and physical ability test; Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant operations; Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body.
