Substation Helper Hoosier EnergySubstation HelperINPerforms assignments involving the maintenance of grounds, fences and structures of Hoosier Energys substation facilities, to include, but not be limited to: Cutting grass and weeds; trimming or removing trees; reconditioning crushed stone surfaces; filling holes and depressions; repairing damaged fences; opening obstructed drainage systems; replacing broken glass; scraping and repainting surfaces; making other minor repairs to structures; operating the necessary vehicles to perform the above; and helping with line work. Skills and Abilities: A demonstrated potential, either through education or work experience, for electrical and mechanical skills; good communication skills; legible hand writing and arithmetic; must qualify for and maintain the appropriate drivers license in order to operate heavy vehicles.
