Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of experience in neuroscience or medical-surgical neurology, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, and annual certification in the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), along with 5 stroke-based continuing education units. Additional Information: The unit is a 37-bed neuro-acute department within a Magnet-designated organization, caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, spinal cord injury, infections, tumors, and neuro trauma.
