Provides direct patient care and activities, such as activities of daily living, vital signs, specimen collection, assistance with exams, treatments and procedures and patient focused testing; group facilitation, reports any changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff and documents same; suggests modifications to the master treatment plan (40%). ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide for an on-going assessment of changes in patient status and gathers pertinent patient care data using all available resources; provides crisis intervention to maintain safety (40%).
