• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
$200,000 - $300,000 a year
Depending on the location the Hospitalist will be part of a team that includes laborists, OB/GYN hospitalists, in house on call OB/GYN specialists, MFM specialists, nurse midwives, and advanced practice providers in addition to residents and medical students. From performing the worlds first coronary artery bypass in the 1950s to assisting in Americas first facial transplant a few short years ago, we are proud that our remarkable care has always been reflected by monumental firsts.
Delivery hospitals include our main referral center at MacDonald Womens Hospital (Cleveland Medical Center or CMC) as well as units at St. Johns, Ahuja, Geauga, and Tripoint Medical Centers. As a system, University Hospitals Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology delivers approximately 8,000 patients a year at five different labor and delivery units across the Cleveland area.

Actual compensation will be determined by various factors, including (but not limited to) location, specialty, academic rank, board certification, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, internal equity, etc. Participate and initiate Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby staff education and training, including team and skills building through periodic mock codes.
