Perform core hospital medicine procedures within scope of privileges, which may include: abscess incision and drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, nasogastric tube insertion, gastric tube reinsertion, transurethral catheter placement, joint aspiration and injection (except ankle and hip), lateral epicondyle injection, removal of lines and tubes, fecal occult blood testing, and all ACLS procedures. Must provide proof of immunizations/screenings current within the past year, including TB testing (TST or IGRA), MMR and varicella immunity, Tdap, annual influenza vaccination, and Hepatitis B series with bloodborne pathogen training.
