The Officeof University Events is responsible for providing a positive customerservice experience to all living in Hardin-Simmons University Housing forSummer Camps and Conferences. This position is fluid in nature and willrequire students to operate on a fluctuating schedules and duties from day today. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: CampsHosts will be asked to manage residential responsibilities that may include butare not limited to lockouts, After hours on-call duty, room inspections,helping relocate student belongings, assisting with furniture removal, housingcheck-ins and move-outs, as well as any duty needed communicated by theDirector of University Events or Event Services Staff. Eachhired Camp Host will be assigned a consistent day of the week for assignedduties along with other predetermined dates. Studentswill be expected to stay in the assigned residence hall when camps are in residencein their halls. Schedules are predetermined. Studentswill receive summer housing, and meals in the HSU Caf when open. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Noprevious experience required. Residence life experience preferred. Must beenrolled for Fall 2025 semester and maintain a 2.5 GPA. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Studentwill be required to walk up and down stairs and may be asked to be able to lifeup to 50lbs. Studentalso may be asked to help with lockouts and or other student needs outsidenormal operating hours.
