Machine, fabricate, modify and repair parts for industrial assets such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, shafts, and structural componentsInterpret technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirementsPerform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring toolsMaintain tight tolerances and ensure finished parts meet specificationsSelect appropriate tooling, cutting speeds, and materials for each jobPerform equipment maintenance and ensure machines are in safe operating conditionAssist with equipment teardown, inspection, and rebuilds as neededFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environmentSustain and maintain organization of machine tooling by engaging with site expectations including the 5S Housekeeping philosophy. High school diploma or GED (technical or trade school preferred)3+ years of experience operating manual machining equipment in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong experience with manual lathes and milling machinesAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematicsProficiency with hand tools and precision measuring instrumentsSolid understanding of machining principles, materials, and toolingAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
