Under the direction and approval of the Director of Medical Surgical Unit and Emergency Department, organizes, plans and directs acute care and emergency department functions and activities including interviewing staff, maintaining Acute Care and Emergency Department schedules, time card edits, obtaining quality data, maintaining incident report logs, sick call logs, huddles, competency assessment documentations, educational events, and preparing evaluations for Acute Care and Emergency Department Staff. The clinical supervisor will also support the nurses with assistance on the floor when patient care exceeds current staffing positions for all patients pediatric to geriatric, medical and surgical and emergency department patients.
