Performs other physical labor and responsibilities as assigned, including: digs ditches and trenches, backfills excavations, seals structural components, measures and records areas, unloads and identifies materials, assembles and erects equipment including scaffolding, pours concrete, and sets braces to support the sides of excavations. Laborer: Identifies and operates hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, saws, power drills, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
