Under the direction of the Chief Engineer and/or Engineering Manager, the HVAC Technician specializes in the maintenance, repair, and operation of a hotel's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, primarily focusing on the mechanical components like chillers, boilers, and air handling units, ensuring optimal comfort and functionality for Guests within the resort. Conducts walk-through inspections; changes belts, filters, adjusts volume dampers, checks gauges, coils, drain lines, bleeds gas lines, resets compressors, check unit sensors, relocates ductwork and troubleshoots to locate sources and cause of malfunction.
