This includes monitoring and managing equipment and system alarms utilizing graphical user interfaces and control system programs Validates equipment and system alarms, and creates work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, commissioning, point-to-point checkouts, and/or replacement of HVAC controls systems & equipment; most work will involve Siemens DDC controls with some Johnson Controls Metasys® building automation system and controls Test and perform modifications to systems software when needed May perform minor maintenance and service on HVAC equipment to include, but not limited to, filter changes, greasing, and other preventative maintenance duties Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Operational Experience working with Siemens Apogee, Siemens Desigo, Tridium Niagara, Metasys, or other comparable Building Automation Systems (BAS) Experience commissioning, troubleshooting or installing DDC systems Knowledge and competency of HVAC principles Knowledge and proficiency using a computer Good communication skills, both written and verbal Self-starter with ability to work with minimum supervision Basic knowledge of safety equipment, requirements for use, and HVAC systems safety procedures and protocols The ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances and/or badges as required to perform site duties.
