Review custom home plans, blueprints, and builder specifications to develop accurate plumbing and HVAC estimates, prepare competitive bids, design efficient ductwork layouts within code requirements, identify value engineering opportunities, collaborate closely with builders and internal teams, manage builder relationships, and ensure seamless project handoff from estimating to operations. Experience estimating plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems, preferably in custom residential construction; strong blueprint and specification reading ability; proficiency with spreadsheets and estimating software; ductwork design knowledge; excellent communication skills; strong attention to detail; relationship-building ability; and a self-motivated, ownership-driven mindset.
