Locate and order materials/equipment/tools to complete work in a timely fashion in accordance with University and departmental policies and procedures; • Respond to emergency service requests as needed; • Installing and repairing hot water boilers, HVAC package units & split systems, water heaters (gas and electric); • Installing and servicing unitary HVAC control systems & components; • Installing and servicing hydronic and chilled water control systems & components; • Repairing campus DDC systems; • Servicing and repairing air handling units/VAV box control systems and components; • Provide instruction and direction to other technicians (based on skill level); • Provide experiential insight & training to other technicians (based on skill level); • Assist other Trades as needed on projects and emergency service situations; • Participate in a 24-hour emergency response on-call rotation schedule; • Perform other MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) duties as assigned by supervisor/manager; • Surveys assigned jobs and ensures that sufficient and proper materials and tools are on hand to complete each day's work.
