POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, The HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) II technician performs skilled technical work in the maintenance, repair, replacement, and installation of HVAC/R equipment to include: furnaces, chillers, heat pumps, package units, split systems, controls and distribution systems, and tasks related to installing, maintaining and repairing boilers, power plants, and stationary engines. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:• Knowledge of and understanding of Energy Management Controls Systems • Three to five years of field experience servicing HVAC equipment • Able to use industry hand and machine tools (i.e. vacuum pumps) • Ability to read, interpret and work from blueprints, schematics and written instructions • Proficient in electrical trouble shooting.
