The YMCA ILC Boston has been helping immigrants learn English and develop employment skills to improve their lives for over 24 years. </div><div>Requirements: </div><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree required; Education background preferred</li><li>TESOL, TEFL, TESL certificate preferred</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Zoom</li><li>Eligible to live and work in the US</li><li>Sensitive to socio-economic and ethnic minority issues</li><li>Strong communication skills, inter-personal skills, and classroom management skills</li><li>Able to participate in paid Professional Development</li><li>Able to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Comfortable learning and using web-based file storage i.e., Google Docs, SharePoint, etc.</li><li>Eager to contribute to a collaborative working environment</li><li>Bilingual a plus</li></ul><div> </div> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <div>Description of Position: </div><ul><li>Substitute for our General English Classes to adults of diverse linguistic, cultural, religious, socio-economic and educational backgrounds</li><li>Incorporate adult learner goals into coursework for a student-centered and goal oriented ESOL class</li><li>Develop lesson plans and deliver engaging and contextualized lessons which integrate academic and employment skills utilizing the Massachusetts English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS)</li><li>Provide a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students’ language production.</li><li>Select and adapt materials, educational apps, and web resources for Google Classroom and Zoom.</li><li>Present clear content and language objectives to students for each class.</li><li>Incorporate digital literacy skills into class content and coursework.</li><li>Collaborate with Education and Career Advisor to ensure that all students are progressing with their personal, education, and career goals.</li><li>Work collaboratively with peers on curriculum review, common planning and program improvement</li><li>Communicate classroom/student issues to Program Director in a timely manner</li></ul><div> </div><div>Description of Administration: </div><ul><li>Keep accurate and timely attendance records</li><li>Attending teacher meetings (for long-term subs)</li><li>Document weekly lesson plans in Google drive.</li></ul>

The IT Manager is responsible for the support of company applications, serving as a business and delivery liaison between internal and external customers. Manages cross functional planning and project teams in the establishment, design and implementation of new or revised systems and programs. Provides leadership and direction to a team of Business Analysts, providing timely and insightful direction and coaching on roles, responsibilities, business strategy, and customer-driven culture expectations. Inspires and equips Business Analysts to excel in stakeholder engagement, requirements discovery, and value-driven delivery. Some of the IT Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Provides leadership and oversight to direct reports by establishing goals, providing coaching and feedback, evaluating performance, and supporting development and training initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead and guide Business Analysts in effective backlog management, stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into actionable solutions.
• Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with both senior and operating level business leaders across the organization, customers and vendors. Ability to facilitate consensus among diverse stakeholders and ensure clarity of product vision and priorities.
• Be a thought partner to the team, IT and business stakeholders, providing recommendations for improvements of processes and tools, or defining new strategic IT capabilities.
• Coaches and mentors' direct reports, supporting their growth in technical knowledge, project delivery, agile methodologies, and overall personal development.
• Provides strategic direction and empowers teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. Champions agile principles, fosters accountability, and removes barriers to enable timely, value-driven outcomes.
• Ensures technology initiatives align with business goals, drives digital transformation, and leads change management efforts across the organization.
• Acts as the point of contact for escalated department/team issues and facilitate the prioritization process.
• Stays current with technology and industry trends and best practices, guiding the team in adopting new tools and approaches.
• Manages delivery team members through projects and the project life cycle; accountable for identifying needs, securing commitments and monitoring progress of deliverables. Meets scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met.
• Responsible for communication of project progress with senior IT and business leadership.

• Demonstrates emotional intelligence in all interactions, cultivating trust, empathy, and open communication within the team and across the organization. The expertise you bringBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience.7-10 years of IT and business/industry work experience.Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and developing teams in a dynamic environment, including teams performing Business Analyst functions.Advanced understanding of IT applications and technologies.Strong emotional intelligence, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience with agile methodologies and tools, as well as modern IT delivery practices.Experience with AI-driven solutions (ChatGPT, RPA, predictive analytics) and integrating automation.Experience with Business Analyst and Underwriting. Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires; however, your recruiter will provide more specific compensation details during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $132,000 - $175,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $154,000 - $180,000.
