Working knowledge of all data center critical systems, engineering functions, and concepts:Practical and theoretical aspects of complex electrical and mechanical designsCalculations (kVA, kW, tons (cooling), CFM, GPM, PUE, etc.)Air containment configurations (Hot/Cold Aisle Design)Capacity Auditing and PlanningOver subscription theory and Failover analysisFamiliarity with typical datacenter equipment (Chillers, Pumps, CRAC/CRAH, DX, Humidification, UPS, Generators, Switchgear, DC Plant, PDU, STS, Batteries, VFD)Experience with AutoCAD, BlueBeam Revu, and MS Office SuiteAbility to travel to various sites upon hire to become familiar with key sites across the United States. Strong design, operational, and commissioning knowledge of data center facility mechanical systems including air and centrifugal chilled water systems, small to large HVAC systems (air cooled, water cooled, evaporative), humidity control systems, hot/cold aisle containment, raised tile floor, overhead air distribution and air and water balance principles.
