Maintain membership in and active engagement with societies like Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), The Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), and the American Institute of Architects (AIA). You will be involved when the opportunity is identified, will lead proposal development and negotiations through award, will form and lead your project delivery team (PDT) through all phases of design/execution, and will continue to manage through construction completion to project close out.
