Shall possess a minimum of three (3) years of post- education/graduate and post-licensure clinical experience within the last four (4) years practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP (AGPCNP), or Acute Care NP (AGACNP) with recent hands-on advanced knowledge and experience related to gastrointestinal specialties and care to recognize emergency conditions to diagnose, prescribe, and treat diseases, disorders, injuries related to gastrointestinal care. Basic Life Support, Certified in the specialty as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate (for example, National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, American Nurses Association, National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Specialties).
