This role serves as the company’s ultimate technical authority on the comprehensive Security Concept of Operations (CONOP), covering both physical defense and technical security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection). While not focused on cybersecurity as a primary function, you work hand-in-hand with the Information Technology Division to ensure strict security hygiene across all integrated systems. Reporting to the Head of Operational Launch & Excellence, you lead a team of Security Professionals who act as master trainers and threat assessors, ensuring our global "Franchise" of facilities is impenetrable. We need a leader who can codify the "Institutional Brain" of security into repeatable doctrine. You are being hired to ensure that the security posture is consistent, compliant, and elite no matter the location of our facilities. By building the training programs and threat assessment frameworks today, you provide the "Shield" that allows the rest of the operations team to focus on their mission with total confidence. A DAY IN THE LIFE: Your role is a high-level blend of tactical architecture, technical system employment, and elite mentorship. On any given day, you might: <ul><li>Draft the Global Security CONOP, defining the exact response protocols for unauthorized access, perimeter breaches, or technical system failures.</li><li>Mentor your Security Professionals as they conduct a comprehensive Threat Assessment for a new global facility, identifying local vulnerabilities and designing mitigation strategies.</li><li>Partner with the IT Division to audit the technical hygiene of our networked security systems, ensuring firmware is updated and access logs are being reviewed for anomalies.</li><li>Design the "Security Franchise" Training Module, certifying local site security staff on SILTT’s elite standards for physical surveillance and access control.</li><li>Review Security KPIs and Incident Reports from the Integrated Operations division, identifying trends that require an update to the global training or procedural doctrine. </li></ul>CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Security Doctrine & CONOP (The Protective Playbook): <ul><li>Develop and own the master Security Concept of Operations (CONOP) for all global facilities, integrating physical guarding with technical security solutions.</li><li>Establish the "Gold Standard" for Security SOPs, including visitor management, perimeter defense, and emergency lockdown procedures.</li></ul>2. Technical Security Hygiene & IT Liaison: <ul><li>Act as the technical liaison for Integrated Security Systems (ISS), including CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection.</li><li>Work hand-in-hand with the Information Technology Division to enforce good technical hygiene and system integrity for all networked security hardware.</li></ul>3. Threat Assessment & Mitigation: <ul><li>Develop the framework for Continuous Threat Assessments, identifying physical and technical vulnerabilities across the global portfolio.</li><li>Lead the evaluation of emerging security technologies (e.g., AI-driven analytics, drone detection) to stay ahead of evolving threats.</li></ul>4. The Franchise Model: Training & Certification: <ul><li>Architect the Security Training & Readiness Plan used to certify local security staff and site-level management.</li><li>Lead a team of Security Professionals who act as trainers and working SMEs for facility commissioning, site security audits, and staff evaluations.</li></ul>5. Governance & Field Support: <ul><li>Serve as the Primary Project Manager for short-term field services related to security installs, system upgrades, and audit-prep activities.</li><li>Act as the technical Customer POC for site security posture, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.</li></ul>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>12+ years of experience in high-consequence physical or technical security (e.g., Data Centers, Defense/Gov facilities, or Corporate Risk Management).</li><li>Deep technical knowledge of Integrated Security Systems (ISS) and physical security architecture.</li><li>5+ years in a senior technical leadership role managing security professionals or specialized technical teams.</li><li>Proven experience in technical writing, specifically the development of CONOPs and security-focused SOPs.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a technical field (Equivalent military technical leadership will be highly prioritized).</li></ul>SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: <ul><li>Master’s degree in Security Management or Technical Leadership.</li><li>Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, or CISSP/Security+ to facilitate IT liaison work).</li><li>Experience building a Center of Excellence or a technical "Franchise" training model in a rapid-growth environment.</li><li>High level of business acumen with experience managing contracted guard services or security vendors.</li><li>Military Experience preferred.</li></ul>ABILITY TO WORK REMOTE: Hybrid. The work associated with this role is preferred to be performed on-site at SILTT HQ in Leesburg, VA, though may be performed from home at times. A DAY IN THE LIFE: In this role, you will support a high-impact operations organization that forms the backbone of enterprise service delivery.  This role provides the opportunity to establish global mobility best practices and policies which ensures our traveling personnel adhere to company travel policies and ensures all CONUS and OCONUS regulatory requirements are met. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  1.Global Mobility and Compliance: <ul><li>Manage and monitor all travel documentation required for international and domestic work travel, to include:<ul><li>Passports, Visas, Work Permits, Country Clearances, Letters of Authorization (LOA), Vaccination Compliance, and Medical Clearances.</li></ul></li><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable DoD, federal, and host-nation regulations governing OCONUS work.</li><li>Maintain centralized records of all employee travel documentation and expiration timelines.</li><li>Coordinate with HR, Security, and Program Management to confirm eligibility and readiness for deployment or business travel.  </li><li>Serve as the company point of contact for SPOT, APACS, and DTS entries and approvals (if applicable). </li><li>Liaise with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to immigration, tax, and labor requirements for foreign assignments.  </li></ul>2. Travel Coordination: <ul><li>Act as the first point of contact for employees with travel-related questions or issues.  </li><li>Arrange and confirm travel itineraries, lodging, and transportation in alignment with company policy and approved budgets.  </li><li>Review and verify travel expense reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with cost limits.</li><li>Work closely with Finance to reconcile travel expenses and ensure accurate cost allocations. </li><li>Maintain vendor relationships to secure best pricing and service quality.  </li></ul>3. Policy and Oversight: <ul><li>Enforce company travel policies and ensure all travelers receive required pre-travel briefings and approvals.  </li><li>Recommend updates to travel and mobility policies based on evolving regulations, risk levels, and company needs/requirements.  </li><li>Provide management reports on travel activity, costs, compliance status, and documentation metrics.  </li><li>Support internal audits and readiness reviews related to mobility documentation or travel compliance.  </li></ul>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).  </li><li>6-8 years of experience in global mobility, travel management, or international travel operations.  </li><li>Familiarity with OCONUS deployment requirements, including SPOT, APACS, DTS, and LOA documentation.  </li><li>Strong understanding of U.S. and international visa, immigration, and work permit procedures.  </li><li>Proficient with the utilization of Google Workspace tools.</li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills with a high-level of attention to detail.  </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.  </li></ul>SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: <ul><li>Regulatory Compliance and Documentation </li><li>Cross-functional Coordination</li><li>Customer Service and Issue Resolution</li><li>Process Improvement </li><li>Attention to Detail and Risk Awareness</li><li>Strong Written and Verbal Communication</li></ul>ABILITY TO WORK REMOTE: Hybrid.
