We specialize in Outside Plant (OSP) design, leveraging cutting edge technology to support the ever-growing demand for reliable and high-speed connectivity.Position OverviewAquila is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented OSP Designer with expertise in ArcGIS Pro to join our dynamic team. This is a primarily remote position but we are looking for candidates near Batesville, IN to facilitate occasional in-person training and fieldwork.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop, design, and draft OSP fiber optic networks using ArcGIS Pro.</li><li>Generate as-builts from field data captured by construction personnel.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to create detailed plans, layouts, and schematics.</li><li>Analyze and interpret field data to ensure accurate design implementation.</li><li>Support field activities as needed, ensuring seamless integration of designs into realworld applications.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date documentation and reports for projects.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro or similar GIS software is highly preferred.</li><li>Experience with OSP design and telecommunications infrastructure.</li><li>Computer Assisted Design (CAD) experience.</li><li>AI familiarity and experience</li><li>Coding, software development, experience (Python, ArcPy, Arcade, SQL).</li><li>Database architecture and data analytics skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Discipline to produce and communicate effectively in a remote environment.</li><li>Willingness to travel occasionally (10% average) for training and field-related activities.</li><li>Our ideal candidate meets all qualifications above.</li></ul>Why Join Aquila<ul><li>Competitive compensation and benefits.</li><li>Flexible remote work environment.</li><li>Opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the telecommunications industry.</li><li>Professional growth and development within a supportive team culture.</li></ul>If you are passionate about being part of a high performing team, OSP design, cutting edge technology, and have the skills and expertise we’re looking for, we want to hear from you!
