Designs, creates, installs, and maintains highly available and secure enterprise database instances, including database architecture, database back-ups, creation of databases, and database objects such as tables, indexes, views, triggers, and stored procedures to support enterprise-level applications like the Student Information System. The role demands close visual acuity to perform tasks such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects or parts, operating machinery (including inspection), using measurement devices, and assembling or fabricating parts at close distances.
