Conducts data analysis using established tools and techniques to extract insights from datasets; Creates clear and effective data visualizations, such as charts and graphs, to communicate findings to stakeholders; Ensures data accuracy and reliability by implementing basic quality assurance procedures; Develops and produces routine reports and summaries based on data for internal and external stakeholders; Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including professionals and data experts, to support department initiatives and projects; Maintains documentation of data analysis processes, data sources, and methodologies used for future reference; Adheres to data security protocols and assists in safeguarding sensitive data; Stays informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to data analysis through continuous learning and training; Provides support to more senior analysts on data analysis projects, including data collection, data cleaning, and basic project management tasks; Responsible for other duties as assigned in support of the overall goals and functions of both the Human Resources Department and Pima County. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, university or technical trade school with a major in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems (MIS), or a closely-related field as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment AND one year of business analysis or related technical experience.
