Provides engineering support to the operations floor Responsible for supporting startup operations of new manufacturing/repair lines and/or providing daily engineering in support for existing manufacturing/repair processes Resolves errors with engineering and other technical data, both internally and with external parties Identify areas where modifications to the work instructions or other documents are required to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize build sequence, and schedules Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements Understand and comply with internal, external, industry and regulatory requirements (company QMS, AS9100, FAA/EASA, etc.). B.S. degree in mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering or similar engineering degree Ability to read, interpret and understand engineering and technical data Familiar with manufacturing processes (welding, machining, wiring, etc.).
