Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of subjects assigned General knowledge theatre arts TEKS, curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct students and manage behavior Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of UIL rules and regulations pertaining to theatre arts and One-Act Play Knowledge of UIL rules and regulations pertaining to Theatrical Design and other assigned performances and contests in theatre arts and fine arts. Work cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curricula as needed for special education students according to guidelines established in a student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) Work with other theatre teacher(s), district fine arts director, and members of staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements.
