Preferred Qualifications: • Have or be able to earn within 6 months, the following qualifications: • GDOT Field Concrete Technician • GDOT WECSGSWCC Level 1a (Erosion Control) • ATSSA Advanced Traffic Control • Nuclear Radiation Safety Certificate • Passing scores on GDOT's Construction Engineering Inspection Training tests Group 1 (General Provisions, Auxiliary Items, Basic Highway Math, and Basic Highway Plan Reading) • Passing scores on GDOT's Construction Engineering Inspection Training tests Group 2 (Pavements, Bases and Subbases, Minor Drainage Structures, Construction Erosion Control) • Passing scores on GDOT's Construction Engineering Inspection Training tests Group 3 (Earthwork, Bridges, Incidental Items) • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited university may be substituted for experience • EIT License, if applicable. In this role you will get to lead and coordinate inspection teams on complex construction projects, ensuring contractor compliance with plans and specifications while preparing detailed reports, conducting field testing, and supporting project documentation and safety efforts.
