Ability to operate survey instruments; ability to read and interpret construction plans; ability to perform engineering calculations utilizing algebra, geometry and trigonometry; ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals utilizing tact and diplomacy; ability to operate basic office equipment; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, County employees, contractors and the general public. Occasional exposure to insects, insect and animal bites, flammable liquids, cramped work areas, dust, poisonous plants, oily surfaces, high noise areas, unfavorable fumes and vapors and hazardous chemicals.
