Operating at a portfolio impacting level, this role ensures programs, contracts, technical roadmaps, and delivery plans function as a cohesive enterprise to deliver mission capability and long-term business value.The position integrates technical, programmatic, and financial execution across a large and growing portfolio, maintaining enterprise visibility into schedules, backlogs, risks, dependencies, and resource constraints. The Integrator drives cross-program synchronization, resolves systemic constraints, and connects near-term execution with a 10–15 year modernization horizon.This role requires strong enterprise scheduling expertise, execution discipline, and the ability to influence across organizational boundaries without direct authority. Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Scheduling & Execution Integration<ul><li>Develop and maintain an integrated enterprise master schedule across multiple programs, contracts, and delivery efforts.</li><li>Identify cross-program dependencies, critical paths, schedule conflicts, and resource constraints impacting portfolio delivery.</li><li>Align program schedules with funding profiles, contract milestones, and customer commitments.</li><li>Provide enterprise-level schedule health assessments, including delivery risk, forecast confidence, and execution trends.</li><li>Support executive decision-making through schedule-driven trade space analysis and recovery planning.</li></ul>System-of-Systems & Portfolio Integration<ul><li>Integrate technical plans, architectures, and roadmaps across multiple products, platforms, and modernization efforts.</li><li>Maintain enterprise visibility into cross-program dependencies, capacity constraints, and integration risks.</li><li>Ensure execution decisions at the program level support enterprise priorities and long-term mission outcomes.</li></ul>Agile Portfolio Leadership <ul><li>Facilitate portfolio-level planning and synchronization events to align priorities, scope, and delivery across teams.</li><li>Maintain enterprise visibility into backlog alignment, dependency management, and flow across programs.</li><li>Identify systemic impediments affecting delivery and coordinate cross-organization resolution.</li><li>Establish and communicate enterprise execution metrics (schedule predictability, flow, risk posture, capacity utilization).</li></ul>Stakeholder & Customer Integration<ul><li>Serve as a primary integration interface across internal stakeholders including Engineering, Program Management, DPME, and Executive Leadership.</li><li>Coordinate execution alignment with external customers and partners (e.g., Navy sponsors, warfare centers, and industry teammates).</li><li>Translate complex technical, schedule, and financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership and customers.</li></ul>Long-Range Modernization Planning<ul><li>Develop and maintain an integrated 10–15 year modernization roadmap aligned to customer capability evolution and contract transitions.</li><li>Identify obsolescence risks, technical debt, and technology insertion opportunities across the enterprise.</li><li>Ensure near-term execution decisions support long-term architectural and mission objectives.</li></ul>Technical & Organizational Leadership<ul><li>Provide thought leadership in enterprise integration, system-of-systems engineering, and execution governance.</li><li>Influence adoption of common processes, tools, and best practices across programs.</li><li>Guide leaders toward enterprise optimization rather than local program optimization.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities<ul><li>Expert understanding of systems engineering or complex program execution at the system-of-systems or portfolio level.</li><li>Strong experience with enterprise scheduling, dependency management, software lifecycles, and critical path analysis across multiple efforts.</li><li>Working knowledge of EVMS, EAC, and execution performance metrics.</li><li>Experience leading large technical teams, IPTs, or multi-program efforts.</li><li>Ability to influence outcomes across organizations without direct authority.</li><li>Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.</li><li>Understanding of defense acquisition environments and long-term capability planning.</li><li>Familiarity with Agile-at-scale or cadence-based execution approaches (RTE/PI synchronization experience preferred but not required).</li><li>Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.</li></ul>Our Commitment to You:<ul><li>An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development.</li><li>Research oriented work, alongside award winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation’s security</li><li>Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule)</li><li>Competitive benefits, including 401k matching, flex time off, paid parental leave, healthcare benefits, health & wellness programs, employee resource and social groups, and more</li><li>See more at gdmissionsystems.com/careers/why-work-for-us/benefits</li></ul> Workplace Options:This position is Flex (3-4 days a week on site)While on-site, you will be a part of the Pittsfield, MA location. #LI-Hybrid<h2>Salary Note</h2>This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Although this position is posted as ITS Traffic Signal Technician/ Integrator (New England), this position internally will be classified as Technical Sales Support and will fulfill the duties below. Wavetronix is looking for an Applications Specialist who is eager to help solve customer technical problems and professionally walk them through the installation, training, and support of new and existing products. Along with travel the role will be full time onsite in our New England office. The New England Territory consists of  CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, and MI.
