This is mostly a general laborer classification, standing in outdoor work areas and walking between terminals, maintenance shops, and Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) operating areas for long periods must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must have a working knowledge of and physically utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) to limit or prevent occasional exposure to various severe climate conditions, lighting conditions, fumes, dust, odors, oil/grease, and gasses.
