In addition, provider can perform routine women's health (pelvic exam, breast exam, cytologic pap smear testing, cervical HPV testing), laceration repair, foreign body removal, abscess incision and drainage, and wound debridement. Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time-off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME).
In addition, provider may perform diagnostic or therapeutic joint aspiration/ injection, soft tissue injection, routine women's health (pelvic exam, breast exam, cytologic pap smear testing, cervical HPV testing), laceration repair, foreign body removal, abscess incision and drainage, diagnostic paracentesis, and wound debridement. He/she is responsible for ordering diagnostics, consultations, medications and other therapies as medically indicated, meeting preventative health maintenance needs, completing all required VA computer documentation including clinical reminders and screenings in a timely manner.
