This summer internship experience is designed to broaden the knowledge and understanding of an aviation operating environment and includes internships in various areas. The internship is meant to give students realistic exposure to the work environment and decision-making opportunities. By applying to the Summer 2026 Internship Program you are expressing interest in the internship program and could be considered for other internship opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.Possible internships include Facilities, Logistics and Engineering. The internship program runs late-May/early-June to Mid-August.Timeline

All internships are on-site at KVBW Bridgewater. If you reside in a different state you will need to relocate to be considered for an internship.Eligibility Qualifications<ul><li>Interns must be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and have at least 1 full semester remaining after the internship.</li><li>Interns must be available to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks in Summer 2026.</li><li>Must be a US citizen.</li></ul>### Facilities (2 openings)Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Learn assigned department processes and procedures.</li><li>Assist in processing paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.</li><li>Work individually or in a team under the guidance and instruction of the department supervisor.</li><li>Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.</li><li>Operate power equipment (mowers, weed eaters, floor scrubbers, etc.).</li><li>Routine inspections of the facility grounds, signage, equipment, labeling.</li><li>General cleaning and cleanliness of facility.</li><li>Mowing, weeding, mulching and landscaping.</li><li>Operating zero turn mowers, string trimmers and power tools.</li><li>General organization of hangar facilities, keeping them neat and organized.</li><li>General facilities maintenance such as painting and repairing windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall and other parts of building structures as needed.</li><li>Basic mechanical activities performed is desired.</li><li>Minor repair and maintenance of shop tools/equipment as needed.</li><li>Assist in setting up for events.</li><li>Attend all intern events.</li><li>Contribute to company hosted events (Local to the Bridgewater area or willing to commute as necessary).</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>College student of any major and class.</li><li>Ability to operate power equipment & tools.</li><li>Ability to adapt/respond appropriately to changing circumstances.</li><li>Physical ability to:</li><li>Lift, balance and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.</li><li>Stand for an extended period of time on a concrete floor.</li><li>Work in harsh environmental conditions (extreme heat).</li></ul>### Logistics (5 openings)Logistics Team Internships
