Responsibilities: Technicians will be responsible for pharmacy calculations, medication dosage forms, patient label assessment, IV dose set up, sterile IV compounding (including hazardous medications, USP and USP compliance, state and federal pharmacy law, inventory management, perioperative workflows, and training of new staff members. If working in a New York facility, must have received certification from a nationally accredited pharmacy program (CPhT and be registered with the New York State Board of Pharmacy.
