Departmental needs include programming (various languages), algorithms and data structures, software engineering and software design, theory of computation, web application development, computer architecture, operating systems, networking, and artificial intelligence. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated expertise or strong interest in software engineering, algorithms, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational theory, or emerging fields such as quantum computing.
