Certification / Language Proficiency: Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete LIU12's Interpreter/Translator Certification Process, which may include demonstrated proficiency in both English and the target language, training in educational interpretation, ethics, confidentiality, cultural responsiveness, and professional practices. Interpreters and translators help ensure individuals with limited English proficiency have meaningful access to educational programs, services, meetings, and information.
