The inventory coordinator is responsible for keeping track of inventory in the warehouse, including store fixtures, store supplies, and New Goods.

Location: Gorham, MEJob Summary:    The Inventory Coordinator works under the direction of the Inventory Manager to ensure accurate inventory in the Gorham Warehouse. The Inventory Coordinator ensures and delivers the organization’s commitment to achieving triple bottom line results: integrating social, economic, and environmental goals into thinking, planning and action. Responsible for driving outstanding service while guaranteeing all aspects of inventory control within the supply chain. The Inventory Coordinator delivers positive employee experience, by modeling Goodwill’s mission and citizenship behaviors.  The inventory coordinator is responsible for keeping track of inventory in the warehouse, including store fixtures, store supplies, and New Goods.    Essential Functions:  <ul><li>Complete physical inventory of New Goods, store supplies and retail store fixtures. </li></ul><ul><li>Receiving inventory, reconciling discrepancies, and processing incoming shipments.  </li></ul><ul><li>Execution of the New Goods program in collaboration with the Inventory Manager. </li></ul><ul><li>Pick New Goods, store supplies, store equipment, and fixture orders and prepare them for transportation. </li></ul><ul><li>Clean and organize the store supplies, retail fixtures and New Goods areas within the warehouse. </li></ul><ul><li>Work in a fast-paced environment using prioritization and competing timelines </li></ul><ul><li>Responsible for alerting the Inventory Manager when store supply inventory is low. </li></ul><ul><li>Supporting the Inventory Manager in creating the inventory process for retail fixtures. </li></ul><ul><li>Able to assist the Inventory Control Manager with computer-based tasks </li></ul><ul><li>Maintaining the new inventory processes for Retail fixtures to better serve our Retail stores </li></ul><ul><li>Occasionally assemble store fixtures.   </li></ul><ul><li>Provide cross-functional support to the warehouse team as needed. </li></ul><ul><li>Research opportunities for purchasing used fixtures for our retail store. </li></ul><ul><li>Participate in the assessment of current store fixtures and changes needed. </li></ul> Minimum Qualifications:  <ul><li>High school graduate or equivalent </li></ul><ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with Counterpoint, Novis or similar POS system </li></ul><ul><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li></ul><ul><li>Strong organizational, analytical, and software skills. </li></ul><ul><li>Solid problem-solving skills  </li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:.  <ul><li>2+ years warehouse experience </li></ul> In addition to employment that is fulfilling, meaningful and supportive, Goodwill employees also receive: <ul><li>Medical Insurance</li><li>Flex Spending</li><li>Vision and Dental offered *</li><li>Paid Short & Long Term Disability</li><li>Paid Life Insurance</li><li>Generous Paid Time Off Plan (pro-rated for Part Time employees) *</li><li>Paid Holidays (pro-rated for Part Time employees) *</li><li>403(b) retirement plan, with employer match *</li><li>50% Employee discount at Goodwill stores in ME, NH & VT *</li><li>Valuable job training with growth potential *</li><li>Discount on personal cell phone plans *</li><li>Local community discounts *</li></ul> * These benefits also available to Part Time employees

Write requisitions, purchase orders, and/or contract lease forms. Answer factual inquiries and assist with routine requests. Recommend new or modified storage methods. May lead the work and provide guidance to co-workers on a project or intermittent basis. KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to drive car or light delivery truck may be required. Ability to perform work requiring lifting and/or physical exertion may be required. Knowledge of inventory and storeroom methods and practices. Knowledge of transporting and shipping methods. Knowledge of purchasing and requisition procedures. Ability to use alphabetical, numerical, chronological and secondary filing systems. Ability to type routine business documents from final draft.
