At IAP LLC, the Material Control Clerk is responsible for loading and unloading delivery trucks, pulling parts for pick lists, assisting in shipping of parts for customers, and maintaining warehouse in a neat and orderly manner.Essential Duties:<ul><li>Load and unload trucks.</li><li>Pull parts from pick lists for shops.</li><li>Receive parts and accessories and verify packing lists.</li><li>Note any damages, shortages, and overages on shipping documents.</li><li>Stock warehouse shelves and maintains accountability for accessory and repair parts.</li><li>Break down shipping containers and prepare containers for return in accordance with client instructions.</li><li>Assist in conducting inventories.</li><li>Maintain warehouse in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.</li><li>Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li>Shift: Volvo Clerks Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, All other Clerks Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm with possible overtime and/or weekend work as needed</li></ul> Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED OR 1+ year work experience with no more than 2 employers</li><li>Valid US Driver’s License</li><li>Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security</li><li>Drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Forklift certification</li><li>Working knowledge of business math</li><li>Basic computer knowledge and experience with parts inventory control</li><li>Ability to communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions</li><li>Must possess problem-solving abilities and be detail oriented</li><li>Must have reliable transportation to and from work.</li></ul> Physical Working Attributes:<ul><li>Lift, push, and or pull up to 50lbs</li><li>Operate a forklift  </li><li>Exposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects, and other conditions which may exist from time to time.</li><li>Work performed in an open warehouse environment with no air conditioning and minimal heating.</li><li>Moderate noise level.</li></ul>   NOTE:  This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. This role provides property management, inventory control, and logistical support to ensure proper handling, accountability, and tracking of government-issued equipment and supplies.
