The Inventory Cost Accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing inventory costs, supporting accurate financial reporting, and participating in the month-end close process.

<div> Role Overview The Inventory Cost Accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing inventory costs, supporting accurate financial reporting, and participating in the month-end close process. This role ensures the integrity of inventory valuation, monitors cost variances, and partners with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency and internal controls. Responsibilities:<ul><li> Participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and inventory-related accruals</li><li> Monitor and investigate inventory variances (purchase price variance, scrap, and obsolescence)</li><li> Reconcile inventory subledger to general ledger and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner</li><li> Support physical inventory counts and cycle counts; analyze results and ensure proper adjustments are recorded</li><li> Review and maintain inventory reserves (excess and obsolete inventory)</li><li> Collaborate with operations, procurement, and production teams to ensure accurate cost data and inventory transactions</li><li> Assist in the development and documentation of internal controls related to inventory and costing processes</li><li> Support audit requests (internal and external) by providing documentation and explanations</li><li> Prepare and analyze reports related to inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, and gross margin</li></ul> Requirements<ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li> About 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in inventory or cost accounting</li><li> Strong understanding of inventory accounting principles and cost accounting methodologies (standard costing, FIFO, etc.)</li><li> Experience with SAP ERP systems and advanced Excel skills</li><li> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail</li><li> Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li><li> Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments</li></ul></div>

Overview:
Job Title: Inventory Management SupportJob Location: Williamsport, PA  Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and returned products.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Receives and unpacks piece parts and raw materials</li><li>Unloads LTL shipments as required</li><li>Checks goods against bills of lading, packing slips, etc.</li><li>Verifies nomenclature, identification, and quantity of goods</li><li>Routes material to inspection, stores, or other destinations</li><li>Scans documents into cloud based server as required</li><li>Enters/ retrieves data from computerized purchasing system.</li><li>Back up for Stockroom</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li></ul>

Qualifications:
