You will keep track of all the Inventory the Contractors use to run the WIFI Cable to bury the fiber ( and material such as splitters, construction material, vaults(protecting electrical wiring) markers, etc. ) on a Contractor site. They will oversee the processes and procedures for the designated program and should be familiar with working with a large-volume, small-part inventory.

<div style="text-align:justify"> Job Summary:</div><ul><li style="text-align:justify"> The Inventory Specialist will be an important part of the inventory program. They will oversee the processes and procedures for the designated program and should be familiar with working with a large-volume, small-part inventory. Must be able to organize large amounts of data and pull key information out of the data. A continuous improvement mindset will be important in finding the right candidate for this position.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> You will keep track of all the Inventory the Contractors use to run the WIFI Cable to bury the fiber ( and material such as splitters, construction material, vaults(protecting electrical wiring) markers, etc...) on a Contractor site. We label the inventory and place the inventory in the right place. This is NOT in a client's Warehouse but on a Contactor site. It's Buildings on a lot, some do have small warehouses with a couple of dock doors.</li></ul><div style="text-align:justify"> Roles & Responsibilities:</div><ul><li style="text-align:justify"> Verify stock information and unit identification numbers Inventory and Audit equipment and parts.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> Unpackage, sort and stage units for production.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> Receive units using RF handheld devices.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> Maintain accurate inventory.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> Perform cycle counts and audits per company policies and procedures.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> May perform duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li></ul><div style="text-align:justify"> Minimum Qualifications:</div><ul><li style="text-align:justify"> Ability to prioritize workflow.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> Ability to work independently with little supervision.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> Excellent organizational and analytical skills.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> Ability to stand and work outdoors for long periods of time.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> Flexibility in schedule.</li><li style="text-align:justify"> Computer and excel skills a plus.</li></ul>

Inventory Accountant Department: Accounting/Finance Reports To: Controller FLSA Status: Exempt  Join the winning team at Plaza Tire Service!  In business since 1963, with 94 store locations.  We are a growing business and a leader in our industry.  We are seeking a full-time Inventory Accountant at our Corporate Office in Cape Girardeau, MO.  This is a salary position reporting directly to our Regional Controller.  You will work directly with the existing accounting team, as well as, members of our executive management team. This position requires great attention to detail, excellent understanding of GAAP accounting principles, and a friendly and professional personality.   Responsibilities <ul><li>Maintain and reconcile inventory accounts in the general ledger</li><li>Monitor inventory transactions, including purchases, transfers, and adjustments</li><li>Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventory reports and journal entries</li><li>Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to improve inventory controls and processes</li><li>Perform variance analysis on income and expense accounts for reasonableness.</li><li>Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reports, and required documentation.</li><li>Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting policies.</li><li>Assist in financial data collection, including gathering, organizing, and validating information from various sources (e.g. accounting systems, departments, vendors) to support financial reporting.</li><li>Drive automation and efficiency in reporting and close cycles; support ERP enhancements and system implementations.</li><li>Other ad-hoc reporting or accounting related duties that may be assigned.</li></ul>  Qualifications and Skills <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.</li><li>2-5+ years of accounting experience desired.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and corporate accounting standards.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
