The Surveillance Investigator will perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of a Claimant to confirm current activities and capabilities to assist with the administration of an insurance claim. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across a range of coverage types, including workers' compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability.
Prepares formal investigation reports with factual chronologies, evidence summaries, credibility assessments, policy analysis, and well-reasoned findings that can withstand scrutiny and potential legal challenges. Identifies and flags potential legal issues that arise during investigations and works with the Manager of Workplace Investigations and Office of General Counsel to address complex or high-risk situations.
