Skillset: NIHSS and dysphagia screening, neuro assessments, basic teleinterpretation, strict intake/output, urinary catheterization, Foleys, initiation/titration of heparin infusions, blood and blood product administration, venipuncture, blood cultures, NG tubes, indwelling drain management, and stable medication infusions such as Protonix and Lasix. Required Qualifications: Active compact nursing license, current AHA BLS certification, NIHSS certification, minimum of two years of neuro experience, at least one travel assignment, trauma level II experience, and recent EPIC charting experience (including checkoff).
