At the full performance level, GS-14, the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Applying the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency acquisition regulation supplements, federal appropriations law, and other regulations, laws, and policies affecting federal procurements when reviewing the following for legal sufficiency: (a) solicitations, source selection (award) decisions, and contracts for supplies and services, construction, and information technology; (b) other contractual actions, such as modifications to existing contracts, limited or sole-source justifications, other determinations and findings, and ratifications; (c) cure and default notices, requests for equitable adjustment, and terminations for convenience and default; (d) cooperative agreements, grant awards, and intra- and interagency agreements; and (e) a variety of other contractual and programmatic actions. To qualify for a GS-12 applicants must possess at least 2-years of professional legal experience following law school graduation; To qualify for a GS-13 applicants must possess at least 3-years of professional legal experience following law school graduation; To qualify for a GS-14 applicants must possess at least 4.5-years of professional legal experience following law school graduation; For any of the grades indicated above you can substitute one year of experience with any of the following: have a second professional law degree; OR.
