The Family Nurse Practitioner of the Mobile Program sees patients of all ages (0-99) to will examine and treat common acute illnesses, injuries, accidents and other injuries/illnesses; perform most medical services routinely handled within the scope of the advanced practice registered nurse's practice; and perform selected laboratory testing, refer to specialists as needed, write prescriptions and perform office procedures within the scope of expertise protocols and available equipment. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as milligram per kilogram dosages, ratios (for example urine-serum creatinine), discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
