Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: **Required Experience, Certifications, and Skills:** - Start date within the next 3-5 weeks preferred, with a minimum consideration of 13 weeks - Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced/Intermediate, FHM - Required skills include: Administration of blood & blood products, Antepartum, Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with sterile speculum exam, Assist with vaginal delivery, Baby Nurse (Baby Catcher), Breastfeeding Support, Cesarean Section, Circulate for C-section, Epidural Anesthesia, Labor & Delivery, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Multiple Births, Pain assessment & management, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Recover C-Section, Reflex checks/edema/clonus assessment, Starting and maintaining IVs, Sterile vaginal exam, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM, NIHSS, Pitocin (oxytocin), Postpartum Hemorrhage, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Vaginal Delivery, and Use of IUPC among others. - Previous Charge Experience is required - 2 years of experience required - RN will rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition **Preferred:** - Experience with the Cerner charting system preferred **Additional Requirements:** - Local radius not accepted: residents must be outside 50 miles - Expectation to work some holidays - Pending license accepted with submission, must be active before start - Flu Vaccine required, with Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations allowed.
