Skills in respiratory care (BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, high flow nasal cannula, oxygen administration), IV therapy/phlebotomy, central and peripheral line care, PICC line management, wound care, and medication administration including heparin, insulin, and PCA. Cares for patients with acute renal failure, pneumonia, pancreatitis, UTI, encephalopathy/cirrhosis, sickle cell pain crisis, chest pain, COPD, asthma exacerbation, syncope, and diabetic ketoacidosis.
