Patient population includes pre/post pacemaker and ICD implantation, cardiac catheterization, TR bands, uncomplicated interventional peripheral vascular/cardiac procedures, unstable angina, low-risk chest pain, CHF, dysrhythmias, and new CVA/TIA patients. Skills required include IV therapy/phlebotomy, arterial line management, peripheral line care, cardiac drip management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and use of rapid response/code teams.
