Responsibilities  <ul><li>Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building</li><li>Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, wipe and sanitize windows, dust cobwebs and furniture, and empty trash cans daily</li><li>Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis</li><li>Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees</li><li>Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete</li><li>Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent</li><li>At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services</li><li>Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite</li><li>Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment preferably knows How to Wax/Buff/ and Strip Floors and good with a floor scrubber and familiar with chemicals.</li><li>Excellent stamina and physical health</li><li>Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic and a great listener.</li><li>Able to lift up to 50 pounds or more.</li></ul> This position is temporarily remote.

Job Description:
<hr/>Part time<ul><li>$15.00 per hour</li><li>Saturday and Sunday</li><li>Weekly pay</li></ul>Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The Janitor position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned area inside a particular building or multiple client sites. Exact tasks of janitorial crew are not definite, consequently, must be flexible in performing assigned duties per client’s specifications. RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming</li><li>Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects</li><li>Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas</li><li>Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials</li><li>Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment</li><li>Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing</li><li>Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies</li><li>Follow housekeeping schedule</li><li>Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers</li><li>Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position</li><li>On the job training will be provided</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Ability to follow instructions effectively</li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):<ul><li>Prior cleaning or janitorial experience</li><li>Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards</li><li>Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing</li><li>Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance</li></ul>
