About this Role:
<p style="margin:0px">Winco, Inc. offers helicopter-assisted services for traditional electric maintenance and construction. As an aerial lineman, you’ll play a critical role in the installation, inspection, and repair of high-voltage transmission systems, working from helicopters. This position demands expert knowledge of electrical components and the ability to perform complex tasks such as mid-span operations, wire clipping, and equipment installation while maintaining strict safety standards. </p>

What You'll Do:
<ul><li>Have vast knowledge of the transmission electrical system and its components.</li><li>Install, maintain, and repair electrical transmission systems, including conduits, cables, wires, and related equipment.</li><li>Work from helicopters, climb poles or use truck-mounted buckets to access equipment.</li><li>Clip/unclip wire from the helicopter skid, HEC line, towers and ladders.</li><li>Dead end wire from the helicopter skid, HEC line, Dead end boards and ladders.</li><li>Maintain positive control of the wire during mid-span operations from the skid or HEC line.</li><li>Cut out/Press mid span sleeves, install mid span equipment including markerballs, spacers, bird diverts and related equipment.</li><li>String wire conductors and cables between poles, towers, setting lines in place and using rigging to adjust tension.</li><li>Inspect power lines and identify problems.</li><li>Test power lines for the presence of electricity, using testing equipment.</li><li>Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.</li><li>Adhere to safety practices and procedures, such as checking equipment and PPE daily.</li><li>Erect/maintain structures and their components.</li><li>Direct and teach laborers, apprentices, and groundmen.</li><li>Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities.</li><li>Adhere to all DOT laws/regulations.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>

What You'll Bring:
<ul><li>Class A CDL</li><li>Union Journeyman Lineman ticket </li><li>Ability to work long hours and move/lift at least 50 lbs.</li><li>Compliance with OSHA and other Federal, State, and local safety regulations.</li><li>Knowledge, skills, and abilities to work in the capacity of Power Lines without direct supervision</li><li>Ability to supervise subordinate line workers</li><li>Pass pre-employment and other drug screening requirements</li><li>Travel required for position</li></ul>
